The Fun & The Not So Fun...
Let's start with the fun...
My Mom came out to visit me for Easter weekend! It was absolutely fantastic. We did lots of super fun New Yorky things. Our first night we ate at Babbo my very favortie Italian restaurant in the City. On Friday we went shopping on the Upper East and then to the Guggenheim, followed by dinner at a cute French Bistro and seeing the play On Golden Pond. The show was great, the food great. Saturday was a fun shopping day. We made customized purses and explored SoHo boutiques. We also ate a lot of New York food (Magnolia cupcakes, Black & White cookies, Ben's Pizza) Sat. night we saw BKLYN the musical which was fantastic. Easter Sunday was another busy day...we went to the New York Easter Parade. New Yorkers want any excuse to walk around in the streets - on Easter they wear funny hats and do so. We then went to brunch with my adopted family (everyone was very glad to have a Mom) and church at night. Monday we visited the Macy's Flower show (amazing) and had a Spa Day (Even more amazing) It was a great great time. I miss my Mom already.
Tuesday night my Lawyering professor took our class out for Kareoke. We purchased his presence in an auction for our Public Law Center. He was worth every penny of the $385 we paid for him. It was a great evening.
Later Tuesday night was less fun. Lest y'all think I just play here (like Kirky) be assured that I work as well. I pulled an all nighter on Tuesday working from midnight until 7:30 am on a brief. It was an application for our Moot Court team, so cross your fingers for me. If anyone wants to read a 7 page paper on terrorism give a shout...it's actually pretty interesting.
Well...if you don't receive any updates for a while know that I am delving into my Finals Mode...and pictures of me sitting in the Math Library are just not that exciting.
Love ya all!
