October Update

Hey all - we'll October has started pretty low key. My week in the Midwest was incredible. Both interviews went very well...I had one with Robins Kaplan and one with Dorsey & Whitney. I think that both firms have fantastic potential for being a place of employment when I move back to Minnesota, but neither could convince me to give up my job at Quinn. I got to spend a lot of time with my sister, brother-in-law, nieces and gorgeous little nephew (see pictures below). I had a great French dinner with my pal Allan, enjoyed Chinese with Sarah, caught-up over cereal with Jackie, ate Thai with Jenny and Becky, went to my regular meetings, and had a wonderful dinner with Brenda. I then headed to Iowa for my cousin Janelle's wedding. The bride looked incredible and it was fantastic to see my family.

Life back in New York has been busy and crazy. I had a dinner for Quinn on Thursday where I got to pick my office! It has windows. My former comrades from Thomson-West will understand that excitement. I've been attempting to be a busy-worker-bee, but spending more time than I should staring at the ceiling, or the t.v. If I only had TIVO I could better schedule my life and still not miss my shows :) I have friends coming into town the next three weekends. Yay! Next weekend is my bff from elementary school, Andrea Hickman, who is venturing up from Philly, then comes Allan from Minneapolis, then Leah from Texas and Alyssa from Chicago all in the same weekend. What a lucky girl I am.
