Happy Easter

Hey eveyone! Realizing it has been forever since I've updated my blog. As you can see from the pictures I've had a busy month. I had a wonderful spring break in Arizona with my Dad and Ruth. I spent a bunch of time by the pool (even when it was only 65 - I'm a tough cookie when I want a tan) and we took a great trip to the Grand Canyon, which is absolutely breathtaking. March and April have been filled with studying (not so fun) and lots of random law school events (much more fun). We had our Law Revue show, a musical by-law-students, for-law-students, making fun of lawschool. My brilliant friends Sarah & Carla performed and did an awesome job. As audience members my group claimed loudest and most obnoxious, a very important prize. The next week was our Dean's Cup basketball game, an annual game against Columbia Law. We lost. Horribly. But the school spirit made it all worth it. I have to say we may have reached an alltime low in sportsmanship however when everyone in our stands began changting "Un-attractive" at the Columbia Students. In our defense, they weren't being very nice either :). Easter Sunday was wonderful. Struck with homsickness I decided I needed to make Easter as "Iowalike" as possible. After church, my friends Sarah, Lily, Paul and Bryan and I made Easter brunch. I cooked my first ham (yum) and my Mom's world famous baked french toast (double yum). The rest of the crew brought sides and we had a yummy yummy meal. The next month or so is going to be filled with lots of studying, and probably no fun pictures, but I will send another update soon. Miss and love you all!

Nicole
